This is a diagnostic test also known as a transvaginal ultrasound. A device that uses sound waves to visualize images of pelvic organs such as the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, cervix, and vagina is used for diagnosis. Through this examination it is possible to diagnose different pathologies such as ovarian cysts, extra-uterine or ectopic pregnancy, threatened abortion or pathologies in the uterine tubes.
Advantages: It is not painful, it does not emit radiations, it allows to find the causes of some alterations of the feminine reproductive system that provoke infertility, it also allows us to diagnose pregnancy at an early stage.
It is not necessary to have a prior preparation for the study.
