The Fundamentals of Reproductive Medicine Symposium was held on November 1.

This event took place at the International University for Sustainable Development (UNIDES) <http://www.unides.edu.ni/web/> with the aim of holding an event on the most relevant and current information on reproductive medicine and directed to medical students.

The symposium was developed by Dr. Germán Fernández, Director of the Reproduction Unit Managua, the only centre of assisted reproduction specialized in fertility, that started its activity in Nicaragua last September.

We would like to thank, from the UR Managua, all the participants who turned the day into an attendance success and who made it possible to celebrate such an important event on reproductive medicine. The main elements and current information on assisted reproduction and reproductive medicine were presented and debated.
